Wedding Review: The Schrieffers

Lexi and Stewart's wedding circumstances were far from normal. COVID caused Lexi and Stewart to aim for microwedding with close friends and family. We had so much fun planning with the couple until only days before the big day when guests contracted the virus. To be safe, Lexi and Stewart had go for Plan C: an elopement. Although this was not the ideal plan the couple envisioned, we were able to use a live streaming app called EventLive to connect with family afar and allow them to be a part of the celebration. We ended the ceremony with cupcakes and champagne! From here, we rebooked the bigger celebration for October and it was everything we dreamed of.

The pretzel wall, created with the help of Shindig Social, was a huge success! In fact, it is our most popular Tik Tok! Follow us for more fun ideas!

Southern Way Catering, as always, did a fantastic job handling the delicious food for the day.

Ice Cream is a perfect addition to a summer wedding! Truly Scrumptious Creamery helped everyone cool off and the guests enjoyed a slide show of the couple as they waited for their delicious ice cream!

The cake was made by Ally & Eloise Bakeshop and enjoyed with celebratory champagne!

The bridal party looked absolutely stunning posing at Magnolia Way in Columbia, South Carolina.

The Schrieffers ended the night with a dreamy sparkler exit as the guests sent them off.

We are thrilled that weddings are back and better than ever and cannot wait to keep planning these celebrations. Thank you to Wesley Peterson Photography for capturing every moment so beautifully.
