Tips for a COVID-Friendly Wedding!

With the Delta variant on the rise and cases spiking, we understand you and your guest’s safety is a top priority on your special day. Here are 8 tips on how to make your wedding COVID-friendly!

Take it Outdoors

The fall is approaching and so is that cool crisp air! Take your wedding outside and enjoy the beautiful weather while keeping yourself and your guests socially distanced!

Pod/Household Seating

If you would prefer to keep your wedding indoors, try out pod/household seating! This new trend is something we are loving and helps keep guests with those they see daily and will help with contact tracing in the event you were to become exposed. This can be done with separated/assigned ceremony seating and one family per table at the reception. We strongly recommend doing assigned reception seating to help accommodate this. See our blog about fun escort walls that you can implement into your design to make it a fun accent on your wedding day!

Plated Meals & Canned Cocktails

Who doesn’t love a personalized meal? This is a great way to keep your guests distanced and minimize the amount of contact they have with each other and the food. Have servers deliver the meals to your guests and lose the hassle of overcrowding food stations! Also try out individual snacks!

Staggered Arrivals

Keep your mind at ease and implement staggered arrivals. Avoid the over-crowding when entering the venue and have your guests come in waves!

Signs with Guidelines

Display the guidelines you wish for your guests to follow! This is an aesthetic way to remind your guests precautions you wish to take on your wedding day.

Require a Negative Test/Vaccine Confirmation

Save the headache and require your guests to provide a negative COVID test or vaccine confirmation! This is a great way to make sure your guests attending are healthy and ensure you are keeping everyone safe!

Livestream your Wedding

Whether you would prefer limited guests or have friends/family who cannot or would prefer not to attend in person, live streaming your wedding is a perfect way to share your big day with those you love.

Sanitation Station

Provide your guests with welcome treats that include masks and hand sanitizers! You can also set up sanitation stations around your venue in key areas so your guests can easily access them.
