As we begin to wrap up our spring wedding season, we wanted to take a look back at a stunningl May celebration at one of our favorite venues, The Willcox Hotel!
This remarkable hotel located in Aiken, SC is a premier historical hotel and wonderful wedding location. From intimate ceremonies to elaborate receptions, this space offers private venues to suit your style!
Caroline and Parker added some special touches to their day when their “something blues" throughout! Whether it was in the invitations, bridal accessories, or even the mother of the bride’s dress, the couple carried their blue with them throughout the day.
Let’s take a look back at some of our favorite details:
The couple invited family and friends to their celebration with these custom made invitations that included a delicate but stunning light blue font. They carried on with this theme on their envelopes as well, using an assortment of blue vintage stamps - one of our favorite recent trends!
The blues continued as their day began with small details in the hours before the ceremony, including the ring box, a gift for the bride, and custom-made pillows.
We also saw these blue touches in the items worn by the wedding party throughout the day. As she was getting ready, the bride wore a white set with blue trim while her bridesmaids wore matching sets with blue florals to compliment. As they got ready for the ceremony, the groom and his groomsmen put on their matching lighter blue ties.
The mothers of both the bride and groom continued with the theme with two stunning dresses, one a lighter dress with gold details, the other a satin navy dress.
Along with the blue touches, the beautiful spring florals added the perfect fresh finishing touches.
The combination of pinks and cream perfectly complemented the blue accents, the groom's suit and the bride’s gorgeous dress.
Along with the florals, our bride's blue was scattered throughout cocktail hour with pillows and custom cups, coasters, and matches for their guests.
