THE LEAD TEAM
Alexandra is the Owner and Lead Designer of Alexandra Madison Weddings! Alexandra started AMW back in 2013 and has training and wedding experience from all over the country, from Santa Fe, NM and Los Angeles, CA to South Carolina and Georgia! Alexandra has experience in all areas of events such as venue management, catering, rentals, and of course, wedding planning! Alexandra's favorite current wedding trend is highlighting the "Color of the Year" and incorporating that into design. Her favorite part of wedding day is the cake cutting! She loves how special that first moment is between the new couple. Alexandra is excited to see the new and exciting looks this team can bring to each wedding day!
Growing up in Raleigh, NC, attending the University of South Carolina, and now living in Charlotte, NC, Parker is a Carolina girl through and through! Although Parker and Alexandra have known one another for over 5 years through UofSC's Alpha Delta Pi chapter, her time with AMW began in 2019. Parker started with us as an Associate Planner and is now one of our Lead Planners, helping to expand AMW further into North Carolina. She comes from a background in events, private clubs, banquets/catering and golf tournaments. Her favorite wedding trend is custom champagne bottles and anything speciality monogrammed! She feels it adds an element of personalization and uniqueness on the big day.
Brennan met Alexandra through her time in Alpha Delta Pi at the University of South Carolina! She always loved hearing about the weddings Alexandra worked on, so when Brennan had the opportunity to join the AMW team this past fall as the HR Manager, she could not pass it up! Her background in Business and Human Resources, and love for weddings and events made this the perfect opportunity for her. Brennan's previous experience in nonprofit organizations and government agencies prepared her for her current role with AMW. Her absolute favorite part of her position is getting to interact with our rockstar, all female team! Between interviewing, hiring, marketing, and scheduling- she loves seeing all sides of this business and its people. Brennan loves seeing all of the new coordinators dive into their roles and fall in love with the wedding planning process. It is so rewarding to see all of the new employees learn and grow! Brennan knows they are all going to do amazing things this spring and cannot wait to follow alongside the spring team and see all of their hard work come to life!
Anna is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from Hope College in Holland, MI with a Bachelor’s degree in Music. Anna moved down to Charlotte, NC in August of 2020 and found AMW in the fall of 2021. She began working as a Details Coordinator and now is one of our Associate Planners. One of Anna’s favorite part about being a wedding planner is being able to see our couple’s dreams and visions come to life throughout the planning process and on the day of their wedding. She thinks their reactions are absolutely priceless when they first see it all in person! Anna is looking forward to another great season of planning and weddings!
Meet Sarah-Elizabeth Rhyne from Irmo, South Carolina! She has background in the hospitality industry in culinary events and planning. As a member of the lead team, she not only has the privilege of planning a bride’s big day, but also specializes in day-of coordination and rental company logistics. Her favorite part of a wedding day is witnessing the special moments between the couple, especially at a first look. She cannot wait to see all of the amazing designs come to life at our upcoming spring weddings!
Mary graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Marketing and Sport/Entertainment Management. She now lives in Charlotte, NC and is also working to help expand AMW into the Charolette area. Mary started working for AMW in 2020 as a Marketing Coordinator and is now an Associate Planner. Mary’s favorite part about being a wedding planner is the moment right before sending the client down the aisle. “It is such a rewarding moment seeing the bride so happy and knowing that we contributed to the happiness in making their day all they dreamed of and more!” She says that she is most looking forward to watching the spring team excel in their positions. "I can’t wait to see how much the women grow and to serve as a mentor for them as they learn all there is to know about the dream job of wedding planning!”
Sarah is from Chapin, South Carolina and went to the University of South Carolina where she studied Public Relations with a minor in Business! Sarah was in Alpha Delta Pi and met her closest friends this way! She got involved with AMW after graduation - she saw Alexandra post about it on her Instagram and reached out! Sarah has been with AMW since 2020 and is now an Associate Planner! Her favorite part of the wedding day is "getting to see how happy the couple is when we bring their vision to life, it’s so fulfilling!" This spring, Sarah is excited for all of the weddings we have lined up (including her own!) and getting to mentor our fabulous interns!
