This week, we celebrate a very special person, the woman behind AMW, Alexandra!
This past weekend, she celebrated her birthday with a stunning, pink disco themed birthday party! What is more fun than an event planners event?!
We would not be here without her and spend everyday thankful for all she does for her family, friends, clients, and company. Here are sixteen fun facts to get to know one of our favorite people on her day, featuring some pictures from her celebrations!
1. She is a Canadian! Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.
2. She has lived in five states: New Mexico, Texas, Georgia, California, and South Carolina.
3. She met her husband at the Millstone at Adam’s Pond, one of our favorite Columbia wedding venues!
4. She loves her Yorkies! She currently has a Teeny Teddy, who is five pounds.
5. Her favorite wedding cake flavors are carrot cake, chocolate, and lemon.
6. She absolutely could not live without her Google Calendar, which is always synced with her phone.
7. Her favorite wedding decor color is, of course, dusty blue!
8. Her wedding venue was the Gadsden House in Charleston!
9. She walked down the aisle to a vocal recreation of “Songbird” by Fleetwood Mac.
10. And if you couldn’t already tell, her favorite music is by Fleetwood Mac!
11. Her favorite part of the planning process is the venue walkthrough for design and vision.
12. Her favorite parts of the wedding day are the first look with the bride and groom and the room reveal!
13. She owns over thirty Ginger Jars, which we LOVE using for decor!
14. Her favorite candy is Twizzlers.
15. Her next must-go vacation spot is St. Barths - she’s never been!
16. Her current favorite wedding trends are large, statement sleeves and acrylic accents!
