Latest Style Me Pretty Feature: Spring Wedding at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island

Alexandra Madison Wedding’s latest publication feature, from Style Me Pretty was the beautiful spring wedding of Bridget and Zach at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island. This wedding is the definition of coastal elegance, including everything a low country wedding should.

From the start, the bride and groom envisioned a day that was elevated but effortless. The Ocean Course was the perfect venue to bring this vision to life. Sitting alongside the Atlantic Ocean, the Ocean Course gave a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. The white flowers with hints of green lining the aisle capture the essence of the spring season, while flowing perfectly with the golf course.

Following the ceremony was cocktail hour, where Aperol Spritzes and Old Fashions were served as the signature drinks. Bridget and Zach wanted to add personalization to their big day, and the signature drinks were the perfect way to do so. The Aperol Spritz was named after their dog Louis, while the Old Fashion was named after Winston, their other dog. Adding this personalization allowed the couple to make the day even more special to them.

Bridget and Zach’s wedding offered a seated dinner. The guests were treated to a coastal feast underneath a sailcloth tent. The tables were draped with crisp white linens, highlighting the airiness of the venue. The white and green florals spread across every table, and greenery was draped from the inside of the tent. Pops of gold were seen in the chargers and flatware, that added even more stunning details to the day.

The celebration then continued, with the cake cutting and dancing. The buttercream wedding cake was enhanced with intricate floral details and a subtle lace pattern. The cake made the perfect centerpiece, flowing with the linens and florals. The party went throughout the night with lots of dancing and energy. The string lights kept a beautiful ambiance amongst the floor, and glow sticks were distributed to guests to elevate the party.

More than just a stunning aesthetic, this wedding was filled with genuine joy and connection. You could feel the love not just between the couple, but in every single guest as well. The decor of whites and greens, with accented golds highlighted the Ocean Course’s natural beauty, in a fresh but timeless way. The night was one to remember.
