A South Carolina Wedding Planner Reflects on a Year of Growth, Design, and Destination Weddings
If 2025 taught me anything, it’s that when you dream big, work hard, and surround yourself with wildly talented women — magic truly happens.
As we step into 2026, I wanted to pause and reflect on what has been one of the most exciting and meaningful years in the history of Alexandra Madison Weddings, a luxury wedding planning and design firm based in South Carolina serving Charleston, the Lowcountry, Charlotte, Columbia, Atlanta, and destinations across the Southeast.

A Year of Destination Weddings & Elevated Design
This past year took us on the road in the best way possible. Our team traveled across three states producing luxury weddings for couples who trusted us with some of the most important moments of their lives. We added our very first back-to-back wedding weekend in Atlanta to our roster and continued expanding our presence as a sought-after destination wedding planner in the Southeast.
One of the highlights of the year was being part of the inaugural wedding season at the stunning new Dunlin Auberge Resort — an iconic new luxury wedding venue in South Carolina’s Lowcountry. Watching that property come to life through love stories was nothing short of surreal.

Featured in Top Wedding Publications
From a design standpoint, 2025 was a year of major momentum. Our wedding designs were featured six times in leading wedding publications, including:
The very first issue of South Carolina Bride Magazine
The cover of Charleston Wedding Magazine
These features reflect our commitment to creating weddings that feel elevated, intentional, and deeply personal — and they continue to position Alexandra Madison Weddings as one of the leading luxury wedding planners in South Carolina.
Investing in the Future of the Wedding Industry
Behind the scenes, our mission to invest in women and the future of the wedding industry continued to grow. Through our mentorship program, we trained 36 young professional women pursuing careers in weddings, events, and hospitality.
At the same time, our lead planning team grew into a powerhouse group of six extraordinary women who bring heart, creativity, and excellence to every single celebration we produce.
Introducing Our Podcast: That’s So Fab
And because we love building community beyond the wedding day — we also launched our very first podcast.
That’s So Fab, hosted by myself, was created for brides, creatives, and entrepreneurs who love honest conversations about weddings, business, life, and building a beautiful career. It’s been one of the most rewarding creative projects I’ve ever launched, and we can’t wait to grow it even more in 2026.
Growing Our Wedding Community
Somewhere in between all of that, we’re also just weeks away from hitting 10,000 followers on Instagram — a milestone that still feels surreal. But more than the number, it’s the community that means everything.
Our couples, creative partners, fellow planners, designers, and dreamers are the heartbeat of this brand.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Looking ahead, 2026 already feels full of possibility.
New destinations.Elevated design experiences.Expanded planning services. And weddings that feel even more personal, intentional, and unforgettable.
At the heart of it all, our mission remains the same:
To serve our couples with creativity and excellence. To build a brand that champions women. And to set the standard for modern southern weddings.
To every couple who trusted us as their South Carolina wedding planner. To every vendor who created alongside us.To every woman who walked through our doors. To every listener who tuned into That’s So Fab.
Thank you for being part of this story!
Here’s to 2026 — and everything beautiful that’s ahead.
