Parker Coggins's AMW Experience

Meet another member of our fantastic lead planner team: Parker Coggins! Parker is a University of South Carolina alum who studied Hospitality Management with a focus in Private Club Management and Event Planning! It was her USC connection through her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, that brought Parker to Alexandra Madison Weddings. Check out some of Parker’s favorite experiences with AMW and some tips for newlywed couples!

What is your all time favorite wedding trend?

Parker: My favorite wedding trend right now is the inclusion of all the personalized/speciality items. I’ve always been a big monogram girl, so I love incorporating personalized barware (cups, napkins, koozies, drink stirrers), signage, paper ware (menus, programs), and even more unique elements (monogrammed dance floor or personalized favors)!

What is your favorite part of the wedding day?

Parker: Definitely the first dances between the bride and groom and then with their parents. To me, this is such a sentimental tradition and perfect transition into the fun reception festivities!

What has been your favorite experience with AMW?

Parker: It’s always been a dream of mine to plan friends’ weddings. AMW has given me the opportunity to bring so many wonderful friends into our family of brides each year. Every wedding always has a new spark of excitement, but I especially feel the spirit when the bride and groom have a personal connection to myself or our team!
