Lead Team
Alexandra is the owner and lead designer of Alexandra Madison Weddings! Alexandra started AMW in 2013 and has training & wedding experience from all over the US. From Santa Fe, New Mexico and Los Angeles, California to our home in South Carolina and everywhere in between! Alexandra has experience in all areas of events including, venue management, catering, rentals, and wedding planning. Alexandra's favorite part of the wedding day is the cake cutting; she loves how special that first moment is between the new couple. Alexandra is excited to see the exciting new looks this summer team can bring to our weddings this season!
Parker is one of our lead planners from Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended the University of South Carolina and is currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Needless to say, she is a Carolina girl through and through! Parker's journey with Alexandra Madison Weddings began in 2019 and she helps us expand AMW further into North Carolina. Parker comes from an experience background in events, private clubs, catering, banquets and golf tournaments. Her favorite wedding trend is custom champagne bottles and anything specialty monogrammed; she feels it adds an element of personalization and uniqueness on the big day.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Anna graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2020 and joined our family in the fall of 2021! Anna is one of our Associate Planners and has experience in special orders to help you customize your special day. Anna's favorite part about being a wedding planner is able to see our couple's dreams and vision come to life throughout the planning process and on the day of their wedding. She thinks their reactions are absolutely priceless when they first see it all in person. Her favorite parts of the wedding day are the first dance and the reception reveal for the couple. Anna is looking forward to another great season of planning and weddings!
Sarah-Elizabeth is from Iron, South Carolina with a background in the hospitality industry in culinary events and planning. As a member of the lead team, she not only plans the big day, but also specializes in day-of coordination and rental company logistics. Her favorite part of a wedding day is witnessing the special moments between the couple, especially at a first look. She cannot wait to see the amazing designs come to life at our upcoming summer weddings.
Mary graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Marketing and Entertainment Management. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and works to help expand Alexandra Madison Weddings into North Carolina. Mary started her journey with AMW in 2020 as a Marketing Coordinator and now works as an Associate Planner. Her favorite part about being a wedding planner is the moment right before sending the client down the aisle. “It is such a rewarding moment seeing the bride so happy and knowing that we contributed to the happiness in making their day all they dreamed of and more!” She says that she is most looking forward to watching the summer team excel in their positions. "I can’t wait to see how much the women grow and to serve as a mentor for them as they learn all there is to know about the dream job of wedding planning!”
Sarah is from Chapin, South Carolina and went to the University of South Carolina where she studied Public Relations with a minor in Business. She got involved with AMW after graduation and has been with AMW since 2020. She is an Associate Planner and loves being a mentor to our interns. Her favorite part of the wedding day is "getting to see how happy the couple is when we bring their vision to life, it’s so fulfilling!" This summer, Sarah is excited for all of the weddings we have lined up!
Ashley is from Bethesda, Maryland and went to the University of South Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sport and Entertainment Management. She is currently on track to becoming an Associate planner. Her favorite wedding trend is the black and white checkered dance floor and her favorite part of the wedding day is the first look! She is most excited to see the work we put into planning weddings on the actual day!
